The Ferrer Hotels Powerman Mallorca Powered by Felt 2019 is renewed to become its next edition, the 23 February, in one of the great reference for the Duathlon European season that is about to begin. Again, Picafort in the municipality of Santa Margalida will be the scene of the first major sporting event of the year in the Balearic Islands, and the notable improvements for this edition include a new schedule for the two tests ('Classic' with 10 km race walk, 60 km of cycling and others 10 km walk to the finish line, and 'Sprint' on 5 km- 30 km- 5 km), and a new redesign of the circuits and output areas, goal and transition.
These changes in the structure of the Powerman Mallorca looking to improve the experience of the duatletas, both male and female in two distances, as those who will compete in the form of relay teams. The competitions will start on Saturday 23 February at 9 h 30 and held all before noon, and Friday 22 from February the distribution of race bibs will be held, technical meetings and "party pasta" in the new official hotel, Ferrer Janeiro. Some are expected 400 participants in total, with a higher percentage of foreign athletes to the 50%.
The Powerman circuit tests are the most important duathlons at international level, and in 2019 It will be the fourth edition of this event in Mallorca, that has again been chosen by the Balearic Triathlon Federation (FETRIB) as Balearic Islands for long distance Duathlon Championships.

The fitness level of the Ferrer Hotels Powerman Mallorca Powered by Felt 2019 will be again very high, with the confirmed presence of some of the best European long distance duatletas. Highlight the French Gael Le Bellec, three-time champion of the world LD, the German Felix Khöler, Diego Van Looy Belgian or Danish Kasper Laumann (the Sapphire Palma Marathon winner 2018). In the women's category the Danish Helle Frederiksen, World Champion in 2018 and having the best time in half Ironman Distance Triathlon (3H55:50), will be the rival to beat.
They will be distributed 5.000 € in prize money among the first finishers in male and female category in the "Classic" distance.
